Using Racked Offline

Ice climbing areas often have no cell service, which is why Racked is built with offline functionality in mind.

The offline GPS and route database lets you access route information, maps, and beta even when you're deep in a canyon with no signal. To use offline features:

1. Browse to the climbing area you're planning to visit while you have service.
2. The route data and maps will be cached on your device.
3. Once you're in the field, you can still view routes, GPS coordinates, and saved beta without a connection.

Condition reports and gear trade features require an internet connection, so make sure to check conditions before you head out. Any condition reports you submit will sync once you're back in service.
